Fable Illustrations

This series of illustrations is based on the well-known fable of the porcupine and the snakes. When I first envisioned this story, I imagined a kind and welcoming family of snakes living in the Southwest. To capture the warmth of this setting, I’ve chosen a rich, warm color palette inspired by the desert landscape. Additionally, I want the illustrations to have a loose, expressive sketch style, adding to the organic and storybook-like feel of the artwork.
